Volunteer Opportunities

If you're looking for a way to stay connected to Tri Delta, here are a few ways you can volunteer:

1. Volunteer to serve UTD Epsilon Theta:
The alumnae advisory team for UTD Epsilon Theta has two positions available - Chapter Development and Programming Advisor (CPDA) and Community Relations Advisor (CRA)!  They would be joining a team of 4 other women to help support the Epsilon Theta chapter and let them be the best they can be.  Here is a brief breakdown of the roles:

  • Chapter Development and Programming Advisor (CPDA)
    • Mentors vice president chapter programming and development (VPCPD) and chapter programming and development team
    • Advises the academic committee
    • Mentors chapter officers in academic development, Ritual, wellness and risk management
    • Monitors Fraternity programs and initiatives (Body Image 3D [BI3D], Behind Happy Faces, etc.) implementation
  • Community Relations Advisor (CRA)
    • Mentors vice president community relations (VPCR) and community relations team
    • Advises officers and members in Panhellenic, community relations and social events, philanthropy, and public relations
    • Serves as liaison between VPCR and Panhellenic coordinator (PCo)

Anyone interested should contact the current Alumna Advisor (AA), Emily Holt, at emilybholt@gmail.com.

2. Volunteer with Cookies & Castles Frisco, our alumnae chapter's annual nonprofit event benefiting Scottish Rite for Children and Tri Delta's Foundation:
Our annual event is only made possible by members of our alumnae chapter volunteering their time and talents! In just three years, we have already donated over $134,000 to our beneficiaries - results that wouldn't be possible without our chapter members!

The following committees are still looking for additional help:

  • Decor Sub-Committee
    • Oversee inside and outside decor for both in-person and to-go events. A lot of the decor has already been mapped out so you wouldn't be starting from scratch, but there is opportunity to add to current processes and put your own spin on our bright Candyland theme!
  • Hospitality Sub-Committee
    • Oversee our festive characters, Santa photo opportunity and photo print out, and food and beverage options for our guests and volunteers. This position works in conjunction with the Volunteer and Sponsorship committees.
  • Sponsorship Sub-Committee
    • Help research and/or find companies and individuals that may be able to sponsor at any level! (you don't even have to reach out to them, just help us find opportunities!)
    • Reach out to past sponsors and encourage them to recommit!
    • Help write thank you cards to our 100+ sponsors! (This can start now and work on slowly through December)

If you are interested in learning more about CCF, please reach out to cookiesandcastlesfrisco@gmail.com. Committee meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month at Scottish Rite Frisco - come on by and listen to a meeting (no commitment required!).

Thank you to all of our volunteers who give their time and talents back to Tri Delta!

brave, bold, kind
