A letter from the President

Welcome to the North Dallas Area, TX Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter!

Our chapter serves Tri Delta alumnae women in the northern suburbs of Dallas from Plano, Richardson, and Carrollton to The Colony, Frisco, McKinney, and Allen.  Recently, our membership base hit 100+ members for the very first time!  Our members range from an initiation date of 1956 to recent college graduates as well as honor initiate members.

All our officers take great pride in creating meaningful events based on member feedback.  Each year we celebrate Tri Delta's rituals such as Founders' Day and Pansy Brunch and assist our collegiate sisters at the University of Texas at Dallas through their Circle Degree during their senior year.

We give back and support both local and national philanthropy efforts by participating in the annual St. Jude Walk and by hosting Cookies & Castles Frisco which supports Scottish Rite for Children and Tri Delta’s Foundation.  Since our nonprofit’s inception in 2020, we have raised over $134,000 for our beneficiaries!

We have special interest groups such as Book Club, Daytime Deltas, and Fitness & Fun.  We host game nights, happy hours and a variety of other events throughout the year so that we can strengthen our bonds of sisterhood and remain close to one another.  We understand that each of our members has a different level of commitment and aim to provide events at varying days and times to encourage people to attend whenever and wherever they can.

Most recently, we were honored to receive the 2023 Delta Dream Team Award for the outstanding work our chapter officers do for this chapter and the 2022 Member Experience Award for exhibiting excellence in providing meaningful membership activities to promote sisterhood and lifelong involvement with Tri Delta.  In 2021, we received both the Philanthropy with Purpose Award for exhibiting excellence in unselfish leadership and a steadfast commitment to leading the way to a better world through meaningful philanthropic endeavors as well as the Alumnae Chapter Officer Team award!

In May 2022, we celebrated 60 years as an Alumnae Chapter.  Our chapter’s name may have changed once or twice over the years, but our steadfast love for one another has remained strong and constant.

I am truly honored to continue to serve as President of the North Dallas Area Tri Delta Alumnae Chapter for the 2022-2024 term.  This chapter has such a special place in my heart, and I hope that you will join us so that we can show you what our sisterhood is all about!

Loyally,

Kathryn Janowiak, Loyola Marymount
